File formats
The system can recognise different file formats and enables standardised processing, including PDF files, MS Word files and Translation Memory Exchange files.
Specialist subject areas
Specific checking and verification of specialist subject areas, including law, medical technology, automotive engineering, machinery and plant engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, software and lab technology. Additional translation-relevant aspects, such as the text type, the recipients and the purpose, are also considered.
Languages
Specific checking and verification with a choice of language combinations, e.g. from English or German into French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Polish, Czech, Swedish, Chinese, Japanese, Hungarian, Japanese and many more.
Proofreaders
The verification process also gives customers the option of involving proofreaders of their choice or their own proofreaders. All proofreaders must meet the minimum requirements as set out in DIN EN 17100. Glossa Group, however, sets higher demands with regard to the duration of professional work, experience in the trade and professional qualifications.
Error analysis
The precise breakdown of errors and assessment of translations is performed in accordance with ISO/TS 11669, the automotive standard SAE J2450 and the assessment methodology set out in the LISA QA model.
